Slow Putting - DJ & Reed v Rory

Watching last night and on 16 they all had boarderline tap-ins.

DJ and Reed had butts about 2.5 feet and took 40 and 41 seconds respectively
Rory had a little less and knocked his in in 4.5 seconds (yes I timed it....)

Must be frustrating for Rory to watch players spend so long over such short putts

Maybe that's why Rory misses so many putts. He doesn't take long enough over them?

Across the whole tournament all the players were having issues with putts from just a couple of feet , they all prob missed at least one from that distance

Unless you’ve played poa greens, you won’t understand the difficulty of short putts. Late in the day the ball does not always run true to a perfect read. It’s most unnerving

Makes me feel better. Sinked several long putts but missed two from inside two feet!!
