Just watching the KLM Open and I've noticed that Gary Orr has a very deliberate routine. Contrast this with Simon Dyson or Rory McIlroy and he's just downright slow! Even on the 6" putts, he can't just walk up and tap them in.

At what point does deliberate become slow? Gary Orr must be friends with the Sky commentators because all they seem to do is applaude his routine. I think that some of the BBC commentators may have had a pop by now.

He's had a rough time with injuries and form for a number of years and is on a medical exemption this year on Tour.
He's in line for a good finish and doesn't want to blow it - I'd be taking all the time I possibly could.

Not sure he's going to win but there'll still be a nice fat cheque and a rise up the RTD rankings for him.

Theres so much money to play for these days every putt is worth a fortune.
Not so much for the top pro who are worth millions, but the average pro who may not be getting thousands week in week out, they need to take there time.
