Just wanted to make mention on here of my recent experience.

Earlier in the year I was intrigued by the various option in this area, and decided SKYPRO was the one to give a go, but still had some doubts about the general usefulness so managed to pick up a used one to see how I found it. I liked it.

Unfortunately a couple of weeks back it seemed to develop a fault, just as thoughts were turning to putting some work in over the winter. Was a slightly odd symptom as it would appear to bluetooth when fully charged and in the charger, but disappear when being removed. Could not find any experience online, and tried the company's chat a couple of times to troubleshoot but we could not ID a solution. Anyway, spoke with the UK based skyhawke and explained honestly my predicament, and how I came by it. Was really just hoping if they could take a look to help diagnose and perhaps try fitting a new battery. As luck would have it the previous owner had registered the device with them.

Suprised and shocked to open a package this morning containing a brand new unopened SKYPRO. Currently charging :)

Obviously someone who had bought a new one would not have needed to rely on my "luck". With innovations like these there will always be a secondary market, certainly a number of visitors to the range have come over and asked me about it and had a swish - and that is how word spreads I guess.

Appreciate this kind of device is not for everyone, for me I know I have a habit of bringing my takeaway inside and becoming flat, so it was great to keep tabs on it between lessons.

Any big thanks to skyhawke, these guys do the skycaddie also I believe.

Cheers

What a result! Well done Skyhawke.

They were superb when my SG5 went wrong about two months after the warranty expired... sent me a brand new unit as I'd just renewed my membership.

Quality service from a quality company & brand

Oh, I'd better declare that I work for them :smirk:
