Is anyone struggling with renewing membership on SkyGolf/SkyCaddie handhelds? I cannot get my account details to enter even though they are 100% correct and membership renewal keeps failing/crashing on their website.

Renewing Skycaddie subscription is one of the biggest PITA things to ever exist.
It's a trial every single time.
If it wasn't such a good piece of kit I'd bin mine and get a watch...and I hate wearing watches...

Have you phoned them? The UK helpdesk was pretty good last time I used it.
yes contacted them and she was really helpful...but unfortunately the Tech Team in the USA failed, they said there were no issues with my log in but there definitley is

I got their LX2 watch after my SG5 died.

Their software and website is the single worst thing I have encountered. It's abysmal in every way.

But with the LX2, once you've registered it, there is no subs for the basic ground mapped distance data. You miss out on hazards and inteligreen functions but I can live with that. Have never had to sync the device with their terrible software since that first day.

I was really struggling to update my membership via the Skygolf app, but had no problem using the website. It’s slow, but I got there eventually.

Ive just renewed mine

jeez what a parlarva, almost threw it out of the window

They really need their website looking at

The actual GPS device is great,

My sx400 just updated it's membership with no problems - that's the first time it's been hassle free in 15 years (sg2.5 initially).

All my recent cars have required a "subscription" to update the maps. I don't hugely enjoy driving so am happy driving around in what appears to be a field on the map but is obviously a new road knowing that it will mostly get me to where I want to be. I guess I made a choice and saved myself £200 a year. Don't forget there's always Google maps and similar golf apps if that's what you want to choose.

Life is short, make choices that make you happy. Don't get hung up on others' choices until they directly have an impact on yours.
