Any users of the sky sound box thing please? After your views on it, positive and negative.

Is it worth the money as you can get it for £200 at the moment, are there better alternatives for that price?

As well as the TV/sky can you run your games console through it.

Cheers

I’ve got it mate, had it 8 months, I’m no expert in sound quality but I like it, sound is clear, works great, no issues.

It's meant to be a very decent bit of kit for the money, got great reviews when it came out.

Only thing I would check is whether buying it at what is a heavily subsidised price will tie you in contract-wise or cause you an issue if you cancelled Sky.

I checked that mate, it’s a stand alone bit of kit, not tied in to Sky, only tie was initial offer only available to Sky Customers.

I have got an ordinary sound bar but cannot plug it directly in to the Sky box as it is out of sync with the picture.

I have realised that is does not matter anyway as I have three different sound sources going in to the TV anyway so it needs to be synced to that (BT box, Sky Box and DVD player)
