Probably a dumb suggestion but have you checked if the router is set at 5Ghz rather than 2.4?

Sounds to me like you're getting connected but when it comes to your devices getting out to the Default Gateway it's nothing. Nothing's been changed with regards to NAT rules or anything, there's no DMZ been set or anything? Make sure also there's no been a proxy setting set up on the router. You don't need anything like that.

Although I suspect the new router would have ruled all that out if nothings been changed. New router rules out anything in the home being at fault. I reckon it's got something to do with the link outside and to the exchange.
Ethernet cable did not work either.

I have a Sky router - it got delivered; I switched it on; it works. If I lose internet access I switch it off; unplug the landline connection from it; wait a while; plug landline back in; switch it on - and it works![]()
And now having just earlier said the above I can't get my wireless working...
Direct ethernet cable connection - no problemo - wireless - fiddlesticks - typical.
