Got a new sky caddie for the mate there off ebay.

But my question is with a new sky caddie do you still need to pay the 30 quid a year for the first year or do you get it free?

From what i can see on the software it looks like he is going to have to pay 30 quid on top..

He wont be to happy about that lol

Thanks in advance..

No freebies with Skycaddie.
He should have "cleared" the unit to enable the change of ownership - there is a way of doing this through the website. This means he wont get charged any more.. Then you have to set up your account and pay the subs - it's not transferable.
If he hasn't told Skycaddie, when his subs expire you'll have great difficulty using the unit.

well this is a new unit..

plastic still on the screen

tho was wondering does he still have to pay the a year sub?? even tho its brand new

surely a new unit would come with a years free sub??

Found this on the Skycaddie site.....
