Sky/BT/Virgin/Freeview/Freesat/Yourview?

I think it's the NOW TV app Val.

Another happy Sky customer here. Just recently moved my phone and broadband over to them too (BB free for the next year, plus free any time calls to overseas numbers, which comes in handy) and the transition couldn't have been smoother. Touch wood, never had bad customer service either in over 12 years.

Im quite happy with Sky too but Im the only one to watch sports so If I ditch my sports subscription (and movies for that matter) and can get sports on the ipad for £4.99 a month it's a no brainer. Trouble is I can't see how to and can only see the sky sports tv app as the way to do it.

Now TV is payg telly at £9.99 for a day pass, no thanks.

I thought one of the NOWTV options was for Sky Sports only.

Gary, are you watching this on the sky sports tv app?

Yes, just the app from the app store. It's not optimised for iPad (you get the little "x2" button in the corner of the screen) so quality not amazing, but it does just fine for me.

I don't know if you can hook it up to a tv or not. I'm not allowed control of it to find out!

It's PAYG tv powered by sky, an expensive option but ideal for folk who may only be interested in a day's viewing

I spotted it, it's a phone version just now, hopefully they get it optimised for ipad too.

just had Virgin and BT's package through the post today............both very tempting.......

BT with its youview box or Virgin with 60MB broadband and 6 mths half price?

Has anyone got Virgin Tivo?
Yes I have/had it. In my experience its glitchy, buggy and not worth the extra money. No doubt others find it great.

I just changed my subscription from Virgin to Sky. Sky Go and a great offer saving me £25 a month for basically the same services being the main reasons. I also wanted BT Sport which Virgin didn't have at the time I gave notice, however I am hearing the deal cost Virgin a fortune and there will be a major hike in package pricing this winter to reflect that. < from a Vigin employee.

Haven't had the begging call from Virgin as yet but Sky Go on the Ipad and the new download facility to Ipad are both deal breakers for me.

Virgin XL gets BT sport for free. And on virgin antime app on the ipad and iphone.

Tivo never misses a beat and the broadband is perfect.

Overall package is expensive, I am under instruction from HID to try and reduce. The golf and the cricket this summer has been worth the subscription alone. So it looks like movies will have to go at least just to show willing.

And the kids
