Does anyone have or is aware of a Club that has a local rule stating a Single Player has no status on their golf course.
Looking for an example.

Cheers Colin,If any do, they shouldn't have, But you probably know that.
Priority on the Course
Unless otherwise determined by the Committee, priority on the course is determined by a group's pace of play. Any group playing a whole round is entitled to pass a group playing a shorter round. The term "group" includes a single player.
Pretty sure we do.Does anyone have or is aware of a Club that has a local rule stating a Single Player has no status on their golf course.

Could you check please Bill and if so, could you send me a copy, cheersPretty sure we do.
Must be some fellas on here who have no choice unfortunatelyI dont get why you would want to play alone during the main part of the day.
21st birthday treat?I played as a single in 1974, but got bored with my own company.![]()
Will doCould you check please Bill and if so, could you send me a copy, cheers
When the course is crammed with fourballs with no gaps. If I were a single player I wouldn't expect to be let through & neither would most people I know think about letting a single through.Chipping sodbury allegedly.
Why anyone would want to hold up a single player I’ll never know.
Might add a minute to a groups round if done right.

Not at all. Nobody in their right mind would go out as a single on a busy course. Letting a single through under these circumstances delays the match letting the player through, the one behind them etc. etc. And then there's another single player & you have to do it again. It's inefficient use of the course at busy times. If my group are caught by a single, or a two, three or four, for that matter, and there's a gap in front well let them through immediately. Treat people the way you expect to be treated, I say, & I wouldn't expect to go through the field on a crowded course.Well that’s pathetic.
This season we had an old chap who’s a member who’s house is across the road. He’d popped on for a few holes, playing off the reds.
In the middle of Wednesday comp mind.. he played down with us and got on his merry way from the 12th onwards.
Bit random but, didn’t cost any time. Singles can just play down a hole with a group and dissapear, making his way through the groups seamlessly.
To make someone wait longer than the time it’ll take to get through is just w**k.
That is all.
