signature hole

If you look at J_F's post here http://forums.golf-monthly.co.uk//showfl...&PHPSESSID= you see the signature hole of the Glen Golf Club at North Berwick.

Depending on the wind and tide it can be anything from an 8 iron to a Bazooka! Right and you're on the beach or in the sea depending on the tide. Too long and it's the same. Left and you're in the rough on a hillside!

We played this on a Scottish Forum Day recently and this was our booby prize hole. I think the worst was only a four !

But I bet all the guys will remember it from that day.

It's probably the hole that I remember most from that day DCB, along with the 18th. I was at Kingsbarns today and the 15th there is very similar in design although a little longer.
Not quite sure what the signature hole is at my course. Up until 1999 it was probably the 6th(Hogan's Alley) but I suppose most people will remember the 18th now after the drama that's happened on it since then.
