That annoys the hell out of me, that and the stupid mash potato shouts, I think some chanting and shouting is great and can get the players fired up, for example I love the Luuuukkkkeeee Luke Donald shouts.

I'd like to see, just after one of these people have shouted "In the Hole", they get hoofed up the backside and the person doing the kicking shouting "Yes it is"

Comforting to see we have fellow friendly golfers overseas who refrain from generalizing and putting everyone in the same boat ..........
For the record, as a golfer I can't stand the shouts either, and wish that worldwide these folks, who aren't proper golf fans would get warned by the stewards that if they do it again, they get ejected from the grounds, and if they do do it again they actually do get removed from the place tickets taken from them and they aren't allowed back.....

is it any surprise though? The PGA tour advertises shouting 'in the hole' during the opening sequences of the programme...
