I would never give anyone any advice on the course. It is simply not the time and the place. If someone asked me for advice ont he practice ground I'd have a look and check for the obvious sins, posture, alignment etc and may offer my opinion after watching a few shots. However the best person to seek advice from would be a pro.
I think you will find that most club pros are able to change their methods to suit the needs of their clients. My coach is very good at making a lesson as simple as you want it or can, as in my case, get a little more technical if need be. I've seen him give a very simple hours lesson to a lady just starting and getting her to hit straight shots with ease and I've seen him give a very low handicaper a lesson where only a 25 or so balls were hit as he wanted to know the technical side.
