Should the number of foreign players be limited in the Premier League

good post. Highlighting the problems. You see these thing as positives, I see them as negatives.
1. Not everyone child gets to play in academies.
2. Spanish FA paying for the grassroots coaches to get the qualifications English FA paying for t-bone steaks and champagne, and back slapping themselves.

But this thread is about Premier League clubs and their employment of foreign players. The alternative to that is the use of players who have progressed through academies.

Coaching for those in "grassroots" or recreational football is a separate issue and is unlikely to have any relation to the quality of players in the PL.
