I suspect going forwards that will be the answer. Most toilets of that nature are single use so it really does not matter. I am dreading the moment when I enter a facility where the room and cubicles are genuinely shared though. It happened to me once in Belgium. I walked in and walked right out again, it was just wrong . Social conditioning I suppose but I don't think many people want to be genuinely sharing a number of cubicles with members of the opposite sex
