Hi,

I am currently trying to take about 2-inches off my putter shaft. I have removed the grip and have measured the shaft for my perfect putting stance.

Question is, what is the best way to cut the shaft to length. I googled it and came up with a video on youtube that suggests that you use a plumber's pipe cutter to cut the shaft. I was planning on just using a hack-saw, or perhaps even an electrical jigsaw with a 'metal' blade.

What do you guys suggest?

Cheers

Don't go any where near it with a jig saw. It will make a right old mess. Go gently with a hack saw or a pipe cutter.

I used a dremel once which did an ok job.
