Short game practice

Putting practice:
I line up 4 -6 balls in a line from the hole up to about 8 feet and roll them in one at a time, if i miss one i have to start from beginning again.
Practice distance control using my right hand only.

Chipping:
Usually one ball and just drop ball near the chipping green and play from there, maybe change the height and spin for a few shots.

Bunker shots:
Try to control the amount and depth of sand taken depending on the shot.

post is abit old so maybe no one will read it.

Putting simple - 3 balls from 3ft three from 6ft three from 9ft. You don't go to the next distance till you done the first if you miss start again.

Another good one just before playing is to go hole to hole around the outer holes around the edge of the putting green, keep your score i.e. you should be making 2 putts per hole or less as you want when you play

Chiping - got to be getting up and down from different places and types of chip. See how many you can do consecetively

I never practice the same putt twice.
I use 3 balls but putt to 3 different targets. Short, medium then long, sh, lg,md. md,lg,sh and so on.
Same with chipping.
And if you're out on the course by yourself and you miss the green, use the club you missed the green with to chip on with :)

I do that sometimes, usually muttering something along the lines of "you got me into this mess..." :)

If I'm practicing my chipping I tend to use these, http://www.eyelinegolf.com/Target-Circles-p/targetcircles.htm not as targets but for my landing areas. I hit a few chips to get an idea of run and speed and then set the circles to that point. If it's less than 20 feet I'll use the small circle and anything over that the larger one. I'll swap clubs and move the circle backwards or forwards.

Homer,
They seem ideal for what I need, do they break down for easy storage i.e. locker? Also they seem quite expensive at £20 for 3' ring and £40 for 6' one, did you get them any cheaper?
