The wife has just informed me that she has been accepted for a loan to get our kitchen refitted sometime towards the end of this month and she has extended the loan a little bit to give me some funds to invest in a brand new set of sticks providing I sell my current set to pay some of it back.....no problems with that for me!

I'll keep my wedges and putter but the rest of it is going........although part of me thinks, whats the point, you have G10's.

The next decision is what to get. Obviously I'll go to a shop and get fitted and see which works out best for me but I'm seriously aroused by the Cobra Amp's......I'd love a set of G20's but those Cobra's make me feel very warm inside and in my pants......it's what I call "golf porn".

Needless to say, I'm a bit excited!

I bought a set of S3's in august and they are a go to brand for me when looking to buy irons but the orange and silver colour scheme they have this year has put me off trying the AMP driver but if you like the look i think the amp's are great

You can't see none of the orange on the head at address, only the grip.

i got £4500 from the Robbin gits who sold me the ppi insurance and have only spent a couple of hundred on clothes,we are having a state of the art fitting/simulator built at the club so waiting to get fitted for my ping i20's don't need anything else got new bag and trolley last year and go to cypress for free so probably just stick the rest in my isa.

Get fitted me lad, the g20 is about the easiest to hit driver I've ever used..... But likewise the i20 is forgiving too, I wouldn't label a range with a hardicap requirement

I am not a Cobra fan and would rather have your G10s. However your the guy who is about to get new irons and whatever you get they will be shiny!!!

Look forward to hearing what you get.

By the way, try the i20, you might be surprised!

Do yourself a favour and goto a proper fitter.

Avoid AG, Direct Golf and all that shite. At least you will know your news clubs are right for your swing.

Personally I think you need to widen the picture. Many other great clubs out there other than Ping that may just tick all the right boxes. As you've got the cash there, no rush to buy. Try as many as you can before you buy and see what is out there. If ultimately you can't justify getting a new set on performance then you've got a holiday paid for. Of course there is this site you could try....http://www.footjoy.co.uk/myjoys/#/design/wall
