Well they, the murders were Islamic, although he was US born he was a devoted Muslim, whatever that means, he met his wife online and brought her back from Saudi, this isn't just a case of an argument or disagreement with fellow employees and then coming back with a gun in a moment of madness, they have both, along with an unknown 3rd person gone back to the center in combat clothing and assault rifles, this all seems a little too premeditated for my liking, even to the degree of dropping their child off prior to the massacre!
I personally think this is unfortunately linked to the current global IS situation and with gun laws as they are across the USA, imagine if this kind of solo/partnership sporadic killings like this spread across the country!

Seems an odd target for any kind of massacre.
Not really, a soft target is a soft target, and it's even softer if you know your way around it and even easier if your disgruntled with something or someone within it, all a bit too convenient for me. As I stated, if you're just a bit miffed about something that leads you to go home and get your gun to make a point, you still don't go home, get your partner, both get changed into combats, drop the kid off and then start shooting people indiscriminately!

Piers Morgan was grilling some pro-gun yank on breakfast tv this morning.
87 gun violence deaths a day!! Which is a staggering figure.
Piers showed a kinder toy egg saying it was banned in the U.S. yet in the same store you cab by semi automatic assault rifles. The world has gone mad.
The yank said yes but a large proportion of those deaths are criminals on criminals.
Oh that's.alright then.
People like him stand to lose a lot of money I guess. The real irony here is that gun sales soar in the wake of such tragedy. People feel the need to protect themselves so they buy more.
A good watch if you can find the interview. Piers did a good job on him.

Looks like they had pipe bombs and thousands of rounds of ammo in their home. Something makes me think they shot their muck a bit too early and were planning something much worse.
Yep, 12 pipe bomb's, 1000's of rounds of ammunition and other general bomb making equipment, I think due to a disagreement at the center they reacted and brought their murderous intentions forward and although there's been a massacre with people losing their lives and serious injuries have been caused, you have to think this could have been so much worse based on what they had in their flat and were possibly planning!
Hopefully through good intelligence from their computers and anything else in their flat will lead the authorities to any others in the area or across the USA they were in contact with and it stop any more possible terrorist attacks!

You can't change the gun laws, it's in the constitution. No one can change the constitution, it's the foundation the country was built on. Pull away the foundations of a country and you have anarchy.
Banning guns will never work anyway, there are far too many illegal guns within the system already. Take away someone's right to own a gun and now the criminals that are pretty heavily armed will have a field day. Fun crime is only as low as it is because people know that if they try to use a gun on someone they will probably end up getting shot.

Hasn't the constitution changed a number of times over the years ?
Is it more a case of they "don't want too" as opposed to can't ?
And gun crime low ? Hate to see what the numbers are if its high

Technically you can change the constitution, in article five it spells out how to do it. And it has been done 27 times. Plus the bit about guns is in the second amendment. The clue's in the title, it's an amendment, i.e. it can be amended.
As they have changed a few other things that were included in the constitution through amendments, like given women and citizens of all race the right to vote.
