Looking at joining the above mentioned club to get on the golfing ladder, any ideas on the general vibe there, much appreciated, thanks.

Can't say about the club but heard good things about the course and will be looking to play there soon

The course is great when it is dry, after a lot of rain or in the winter there are quite a few boggy areas.

The winter greens are fantastic, the begin prep in Aug/september, so even the winter green are nice.

The club is seperate from teh course, the membership is via the council, very reasonable, then the club is additional unless you pay per play.

Overall course is nice, well kept, shame about the chavs in gargo pants, football shorts sandals etc swigging cans in the summer.

The club I play at is pretty good, not too hilly, excellent greens but still challenging.
