Hello all
Was at the driving range yesterday and the shaft of my ping g20 driver snapped about 6 inches above the hosel. It didnt hit anything I was just swinging normally. the club is about 15 months old and in good nick apart from the shaft now obviously. The shop I bought it from say to bring it to them and they'll send it back to ping to see if they'll replace it. Anybody ever had any experience of this and ping specifically? what would have caused this? if they dont replace it, how much will a new shaft cost and apart from flex is there anything else I should consider? it was a ping TFC 149 D stiff shaft.
It's my own fault though i took the driver in to the shop last wednesday asking what it's trade in value would be! club must have thought "trade in??! we'll just see about that"
