Because I like my 21 degree 909 titleist rescue that much, I decided to make up an even longer one using an old shaft from my 5 wood. It's a killer, works a dream and I have a good progression from my 4 iron, short 21 degree rescue, long 21 degree rescue to 3 wood. The question is, I don’t like my 3 wood that much, I’m reluctant to pull it out the bag. So, is there any limit to shaft length as far as the rules are concerned for such a club. I’m thinking of putting an even longer shaft on one, possibly a 19 degree, and ditching my 3 wood. No guessing now.

Could be the start of a new trend.
