Sergio abused at the BMW.

To shout out conciously like that guy did during Sergio's swing was completely out of order. I hope he got ejected and chastised by all those around him.

Upon going through the turnstyle into an USPGA event, you get asked what is mashed potato, if you say it's something you eat with your Sunday dinner, in you go, if you reply it's something shouted after a golf swing you're taken to one side and fitted with a gimp ball and mask. A little silly I know, but these idiots need stopping, obviously a more rational solution is required like, someone patrolling the crowds with a cattle prod, or the golfers being able to take one extra stroke without penalty at the nuts of the idiot who shouted.

Or the sensible solution would be to give the idiots a lifetime ban from golfing events.

It doesn't help it seems to be an accepted thing to do by the rest of the crowd.

I've been to around 6 European events over here and you rarely here anyone shout "get in the hole" etc and if someone does anyone stood near normally gives them a look of disgust and they are made to look stupid and i bet they don't do it again.

But on the PGA Tour the crowd seem to encourage eachother to shout something more stupid than the last person.

The PGA will do nothing. They can't deal with any situation properly (belly putter etc) and anything that they fear would alienate sponsors and crowd numbers is never going to get tackled. Unless the players get together and complain en masse (unlikely) they won't acknowledge it exists as an issue regardless

No sympathy for the racist tbh. After his comments he was always going to be targeted. Call it karma if you will.
