I ahve just encountered another ebay problem. I have put my x20'2 and 907 d1 on there.

I had an email asking would I take £100 inc p&p for the irons and a different guy emailed and offered £50 for the driver!

Oh how I had to laugh.

Hi Birdieman,
Did exactly what you said. It took an age to get sorted, but I eventually got my money back after I had returned the club.

It was such a pain in the backside though, I left negative feedback on him, he then left it on me saying I took an age to pay (which I didn't). He then had the cheek to suggest that he would retract his feedback if I did the same! I refused, not wanting fellow golfers to fall into the same trap.

Well, I'm just over week into my first foray into ebay and already I've come up against my first bad experience as a seller.

Happily, I sold my 3 golf clubs and got decent prices. They paid for a lovely brand new 3 wood which arrived on Thursday and left me some spare cash too. Lovely. Everything was hunky dory.

However, yesterday I was selling another item and when I logged in to see how much it had gone for I found that some twit had obviously offered 10 times more than he meant to. Would you buy an old camera bag for £797.00 ? Doh!

Have spent the last 24 hours e-mailing to sort the problem out. Happily now seems to be resolved but what a pain! Maybe I should stick to selling golf clubs. At least golfing buyers seem to have a bit of common sense.
