If you are going to treat most of the lawn why not simply use a weed and mosskiller combined in one e.g

The problems are in different areas (one is mossy and another one is invaded by that weed) but sure can try the same if it works

Any recommendations for a the moss killer (have quite a bit in another part).

Ferrous Sulphate powder dissolved in water. Don't get granules, they don't dissolve properly.
