I watched i bit of it first thing and it was mentioned the India's 215 on FI was the highest total scored in the series so far......

Maybe this is India's new tactic bearing in mind their seeming antipathy toward test cricket: prepare poor tracks so that the tests are finished as soon as possible!

Probably about right with that statement.

Finish the test in two days and fit in a couple of dozen ODI's and 20/20 games.
