Hi All.

Any views on which is the better to sunscribe to? I know they both offer a free trial period and the around £35 to subscribe. Just interested if any one has gone for one over the other and why?

Thanks in advance.

John.

John,

Can I just correct your cost figures: Scoresaver 2 costs £39.99 but users of this forum get a £5 discount if they use promo code GMON76. The cost is a one-off. You pay it and you own Scoresaver 2 forever with no further subscription to pay.

StrokeAverage is cheaper at £30 (I think) but this is an annual subscription.

Cheers

Scoresaver 2 every time. One off fee (with discount!!!!) and more stats than you could shake a 7 iron at. You can also record your practice sessions so you can see how much time you are dedicating to each part of your game. You can also record lessons so you can look back and see what the pro taught you say six months back (ideal when your game goes off as a refresher and a help for finding the fault and fix).

There are several SS2 subscribers on here who all recommend it and it was their testimonies that convinced me. I would definitely give it the Homer Simpson seal of approval

Scoresaver 2. Don't know much about Strokeaverage, so can't really compare I'm afraid. Used to use Intelligolf, but now onto SS2, I like the h'cap average stats, and personnal SI it gives you for each hole of the course. ie. hole is SI of 3 but I average out at 10, or hole SI is 8 and my personnal SI is 2. No I can't figure it out either!? Just depends on your score averages. As H says above, it's fully loaded with stats.

Occasionally we post our key stats on here for slatting (opps,) encouraging each other. SS2 comes recommended on this forum.

PS The product support has been excellent when required, (was user error!!)
