Well the flight is £500 so that makes the golf even better value! It's the flight that has made the price better tbh, they are currently on sale from a normal price of £660, sale ends next monday so we just nicked in.

Look out for tour pro's on the practice ground (they have their own practice area as Sawgrass is the home club for quite a few pro's) I was talking to someone who went there & saw Jim Furyk on the range...he was there when he got up at 8am & still there at 6 pm....that's dedication for you.

I was lucky enough to play The Stadium Course at Sawgrass on the 28th Feb 2010 and it was fantastic although a tad cold due to a particularly cold winter, but it was worth every penny!
The back nine is a bit special; and the walk from the 16th green to the 17th tee is very nerve wracking!
I managed to shoot a respectable 82 but the highlight was finishing Par,birdie,Bogey -yes I managed to birdie 17 which I still can't believe to this day!
Oh by the way enjoy the 18th tee shot and hire a caddy (worth it!) and take lots of photos!

You will really enjoy yourself at Sawgrass, if you want any advice let me know as I lived not far from there for two winters when I played Hooters Tour and it was home course for my girlfriends golf team (JU) so we would go there 3/4 days a week when I wasn't playing tournaments. I know there is also a few money games round that you could play. Anyway anything you want to know just shout.
