Saunton Jug

Going down that end of the woods for a couple of days to play in the Saunton Jug which is on Wednesday.

Anyone else from here playing?

I'm playing Westward Ho tomorrow too. Never played any of the courses at Saunton or North Devon so apparently I'm in for a treat. A big wet, windy treat judging by the weather forecast.

You are definately in for a treat,the saunton courses are really good,played the east course earlier this year with two fellow forummers,it looks like the weathers going to be a bit rough so be prepared.

Be interested to see what you think of rnd, a lot of people don't get it but it's all about the greens and the wind, so you'll be playing it as it's meant to be played.

And just remember, the current layout was put down by Old Tom Morris, that use to make me shiver every time I thought about it.

Packing all the rough weather gear as we speak!! Looking forward to the challenge, think I'd rather play the courses when they are biting a bit harder.

Played Saunton earlier in the year with pokerjoke and barum_blue and we had a great day. Both courses are excellent and a real test. Irrespective of how well you play on the day, you will not be disappointed with the courses or the facilities. All the best!
