Sand Wedge Loft

I'm thinking of buying another Cobra Trusty Rusty Wedge to use as a sand wedge, but what is the correct loft for a sand wedge.

Horses for courses.

I used a 52° wedge to get out of a greenside trap Tuesday night. Later on use a 58° to get out of another

I've used a 46° Picthing wedge before now.

What current wedge set up do you have?

I use my 56[SUP]O[/SUP] wedge with 14[SUP]0[/SUP] of bounce if the bunker actually has sand in it, if not I use my 62[SUP]0[/SUP] wedge that only has 8[SUP]0[/SUP] of bounce.

You're pitching wedge should be a 44 on the amp cell
The actual SW in the amp cell set is 54
as you have a 53 I'd go for something higher.. I got the 59, nifty club

What's the loft on your pitching wedge? I'm going to guess around the 45° (± a degree or so)?
Going by what Vice says it's 44° but I don't know how to measure the degree.

I didn't get the Amp Cell SW. Might look at the 59°

'Standard' Sand Wedge is 56* +/- 1 degree.

Some folk use a 58 a a multi-purpose (Lob and Sand)

A Sand Wedge tends to have more bounce than other specialist wedges - unless high bounce wedges suit your style.
