Following on from PeterPumkins sad loss, how many of you have photos of your golf stuff?
In these days I would guess most people have a camera of sorts whether its a normal camera or one in your moby.
If the worst happens, I'm sure it would help with the insurance claim if you provide pictures of your clubs GPS shoes, bag trolley, V-Easy etc.
I know this wont help you Peter but will you photograph your new kit when you get it?

I'm sure I had one around here somewhere.

Cracking idea! Remember seeing this mentioned on the telly when they were talking about claims on your home insurance as it means there is no question that you actually had the item.

I thought someone had died when I read the title Bob!

I think the sayings "you live and learn" and "you learn by your mistakes" comes to mind. Keeping receipts and photographing everything will be done straight away. I will also quickly drop my clubs off home now before going in the bar (I only live 1.2miles from my club).

I was amazed when I totalled everything and it came to nearly £2k! Annoying thing is that these opportunists have probably sold the lot for £100 down the pub.

Off topic - things got put swiftly into context on Thursday morning when I learnt that a friend of mine had fallen off a roof and broke his back. I can easily replace my clubs, this poor guy might not even walk again.
