Rye Hill

Guys,

I try try to play each month with a mate from where I used to live. We meet mid way which is Oxford area. Have played a few rounds at Banbury but think that won't winter well so been looking at alternatives.

Want something affordable so are considering Rye Hill which states it's playable all year. Anyone familiar with it or able to suggest any local alternatives which drain well? Have looked at Hinksey Heights too which I think is heathland so should be ok even if it's wet. Any thoughts?

Have a look at Studley Wood in Oxford. Very good course, and I think their green fees at this time of year are pretty comparable

Tadmarton Heath, quirky but a good test. Very friendly.
