I'm going up for the Friday.
Need to get back to London Saturday so catching the Megabus Gold sleeper coach from Victoria Station Thursday night 21:30 arriving in Perth, Broxden Park and ride at 06:00 Friday a.m. Then head to the Park and ride at McDiarmid Park, for the free shuttle to Gleneagles.
Return sleeper from Perth to London is at 23:15 so time for a few bevvies and a few hours kip on the coach and back in London for 08:00.
Journey time is 8hrs 30 each way and costs just £70 return.
Was a bit apprehensive about going all that way by coach, but they have free refreshments, wifi and power points on board.....sleeper bunks look OK too.....
