lol A rumour started and the telegraph have taken one tiny snippet and added a couple of hundred words to flesh it out a bit. I have to say, normally the Belly Telly is fairly straight down the line too, Eejits. Rory has only just had his r8 done in matt black, why would he be buying a Veyron too? Someone didn't really do their homework very well.

Northern Ireland isnt a big place and as strange as it sounds, we dont like everyone knowing our business. Broadcasting incorrect facts probably dont help either.

Another less likely reason is that if certain factions hear that you have more money than sense they may try and take advantage.

he's a "right at it" all the time guy if he's not on top form on tough pin positions he's gonna hit a few bunkers

I guess its still a learning curve for the guy. Having risen so quickly there is bound to be interest in all aspects of his life now and out of that will come rubbish like this to sell papers. As long as he knows the truth, let it go. The trouble with spouting on twitter etc is that it will just encourage responses and so the rumours continue.
