Rory

I think he has been poorly advised, poorly coached and guilty of having his head turned by Nike and the lure of filthy lucre. What he does next is anyones guess. I would hope he gets sorted, whatever that takes, and that he gets back to major winning form. I don't know it will be any time soon I'm afraid

Would you have stuck with Titleist & turned down the mega £ deal with Nike if you were in Rory's position?

I would have hoped I as better advised but the only person that can answer the question as to why he changed is McIlroy

Did he need the extra cash? Really?
His deal with Titleist was up, a new one would have kept a roof over his head for a week or two I suspect..
If he went to Nike purely for the money then I hope both sides are happy.

No he didn't need the money, but neither does any other golfer that swaps sponsors or footballer that moves clubs for an extra £50k pw. I'm not saying its right but it's just the way it is.

I think he's just not too fussed. Before the open his was laughing it off saying it didn't matter as he already had a good life. Granted Woods may snarl a bit too much and come across miserable at times but n ant imagine him ever being happy during his slump like Rory apparently is.....

He's gone.

Looks like a startled rabbit. Chased the buck and its backfired big time.

:whoo::whoo::whoo:

Just proves the grass is not always greener.

I remember a thread a while back from a chap who 'used' to post on here:

Seems like he got that one right too :D

Dip. In. Form.

Nothing more.

Take a look at Stensons recent rise from mediocrity towards the top.

To use a footablling catchphrase. Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Yip, still stand by that. He had his swansong and is now back in his slumber.

Rory needs to take stock and fast. I still haven't been proved wrong with my Westwood prediction though and I'll throw Looooooooooooooooooooooooooook into that too. He'll not win a major and you'll see that I got Mr Rose correct as being the next English golfer to win a major.

Some you win some you lose.

I'm still waiting for the earthequake on the Isle of Arran and Britain to be engulfed by tidal waves.
