Romsey Golf Club

Stoneham is a definite step up in class from Romsey, if that is your choice it's a no-brainer. You may also wish to consider Hockley and Royal Winchester as well if you intend to play all year round as they are both very good winter courses.

where do you play tongo?

All over the place. I dont play enough to make a membership worthwhile so am a bit of a golfing nomad. Me and my old man mainly play at Wellow and at Leckford. (Mrs works for John Lewis, so i get to pay cheap green fees!) But i also like to play most of the courses in and around Southampton.

If you ever need an extra player to go round with then let me know as I am always happy to join in with others

I'm intending to sort out a mini meet in the Forest later in the year, keep your eyes peeled. Needs to dry out a fair bit first though, I played sunday and the mud on my shoes still hasn't dried out!

Is all of the course open? The area around the 9th always strikes me as being susceptible to being unplayable after a lot of rain.
