Played 36 at Hindhead today, which is a gorgeous course in fabulous nick. In the afternoon it was singles matchplay. Went out like a train, and was 6 up after 8. The wheels then fell off, and I lost the next 8 (eight!) holes to be 2 down and two to play. Combination of of me missing fairways and opponent playing well. Steeled myself and hit two great drives down 17 and 18 to snatch a half, but what a roller coaster!
