Hi guys

Thought I would share with you my story from yesterday.

Was with two of my friends at The Oaks Golf course in Surrey and as we are new to the game and having done the 9 hole a couple of times we decided to give the 18 hole a bash!

Taking our time letting the quick guys play through we got to the end of the 11th hole and as we was walking through to the 12th 3 young guys approach me and tried to rob my golf clubs!

Trying to make sure they don't get the whole bag as my car keys and phone was in the bag I grabbed the bag but one managed to get my driver out and was on his toes with it so I gave chase but my unfit self couldn't keep up so the bugger got away with my driver.

It's not an expensive one but it really got me pissed of an ruined the rest of the round for me.

Any how thanks for reading and I thought I would share with you guys just to give you the heads up to be vigilant when playing if you see suspicious characters!!

Bloody hell I didn't think that sort of thing happened in Surrey.

I've got an old Ping i15 11* driver here if you want try it?

I have a Ping k15 driver you can have but it's a stiff shaft and no head cover. But great for a beginner imo.

If it's the same oaks that is close to me, although it's in the sticks it boarders housing estates on 2 sides of the boundary and has a public foot path through the middle.

Gutted to hear for the OP, but at least it wakes up the rest of us to learn from the misfortune
