RIP The mash report

The Daily Mash website is quite funny (I have them on Facebook so I see them via there) but I watched the program once or twice and wasn't that great. I don't think Nish Kumar was a great choice of host, I don't think he's that funny. Or at least, he's not funny in the right kind of satirical way for that sort of program, it seemed an odd fit.

Needs a David Mitchell type to make it work.

its one of the few late night programs the wife and i watched, we both found it very amusing.

It is nonsense to call it a left wing programme. They had plenty of goes at Corbyn, but most of the material inevitably comes from the people in charge. I think they also had a role in raising well known conservative comedian Geoff Norcott's profile.

I don't think The Daily Mash and The Mash Report had any connection.

It was an OK programme but not quite up with it's predecessors such as 'The Day Today'
I don't see them as the same thing. Day Today was pretty much total invention, whereas Mash at least parodies a real life news story that has taken place that week. I would say Mock The Week is closer to the mark.
