Watched it yesterday...he needs to do the old driver/old ball Vs new driver/new ball test.
There'll be a bigger difference then.
Also, every shot was virtually out of the middle.
Most driver evolution in recent years has been on forgiveness.
Hit the old driver 3/4 inch from the middle and compare that to 3/4 from the middle on the new driver - then you'll see a difference.
And that's what most of us need because most of us don't find the middle much....

With an average of 19 yds between the drivers, that's at least one iron difference for the next shot, maybe two on a good drive. The difference between hitting, say, an 8 iron into a green or a 6 iron. More forgiveness and up to 2 irons difference into a green... I'll definitely take that.
