I bought a set of Mizuno MX-25's about a month ago off the shelf whilst on a weekend away in Norfolk (i did hit them first and the pro let me play 5/6 holes with them as well, he was a really decent guy).

Having read a few posts on here regarding the benefits et- al of custom fitting, does any body know if I can take the clubs any where to have them checked (probably for lofts and lies I guess), as I would be interested to know if they really are right for me.

I think I hit them quite well, but pull the odd shot left (probably this is a swing fault of mine) its just that I wonder if having them fitted would make a difference?

Maybe I should just go and have a lesson. Any advice would be appreciated.

I had my clubs checked and fitted by a professional club maker as the fitting had been messed by by the original retailer. I know that there are a few in Kent so may be worth trying one to get the clubs checked. Most do not seem to charge for checking them out and then charge for any adjustments.

Don't know if there is one in your area, but I visted a directgolf outlet last weekend. Noticed they offered a checking and presumably correcting service for lofts and lies. They also do custon fitting.
Never had it done, no idea how good they are or even if all their outlets do it. Still if their equipment is calibrated and you only want a check . . .
