Gmail has the facility to 'Reply' (ie to the sender only), 'Reply All' (ie to all or selected other recipients) or 'Forward'.
I am told that some email systems cannot differentiate between 'Reply' & 'Reply All' so that all replies go to all original recipients.
Is this so and to which systems does it apply?

All my email progs have them and are able to reply to one or all as required. For work I use eMClient, for social I use Thunderbird.

I know a few who use phones to reply and do not seem to able to spot the difference despite being told on several occasions:mad:

I delete, or used to, a lot of emails. If you want me, ring me. Evidence:, ignore an email and then see if they chase you. You’d be surprised how many people don’t bother putting it in print.
