Replacing an R1 adaptor

Hi all, is it straightforward to replace an adaptor in a shaft. Need to get a replacement shaft for an R1 as mine has snapped. Is this something that can be done easily yourself or is it a job for the pro's

Its easy to fit an adaptor to a pulled shaft a little more tricky to change one.

if you need to replace the shaft...just buy a replacement shaft with the adapter already fitted..
there are like hundreds available on ebay as we speak.
