Long shot I know, but has anyone done this?

Blurb says it is a 104g counter balance.

Any suggestions to what it could be replaced with that would be similar?

Cheers

The blurb does not say it has a 104 grammes counter balance it says it has a grip weighing 104 grammes

The old fashioned way.

After weighing the new and old grips you add lead tape to the shaft (if needed) to the lower part of the butt end of the shaft before fitting the grip.

Modern methods are so much easier.

If you go to the top manufacturers websites they will list the weight of the grips so you can compare the them
