Hi there. Total newbie here looking for a little help please?

I'm starting off with some used equipment and have picked up a Yes Marilyn putter.
The grip needs replacing and a bit of Googling has resulted in total confusion!

Can someone please tell guide me to a "standard" replacement grip best for a beginner who is yet to understand and benefit from all the nuances of different grip types etc?

Many thanks!

Putter grips are a very personal thing.
Some like the really chunky ones, some like the super slim ones.
You'll be very lucky to find a genuine Yes grip these days.
Pretty much any grip will go on any putter.
Go to a shop that has a few putters and grips on display and find one that feels right.
Find out what grip it is and get a Pro to source one and fitmit.
Or you can do it yourself - plenty of YouTube action to make it simple.

Just get one that you like the feel and thickness of. I have always liked a standard thickness putter grip. I bought a Scotty Cameron four years ago and the first thing I did was cut the grip off to change it for my preferred one. I just use a bog standard Lamkin Crossline putter grip.

Thanks both. I'll take a trip to the local shop tomorrow and try some out.
Always happy to have a go at some DIY too. ?
