(2) Repair of Damage. A player may repair damage on the putting green without penalty by taking reasonable actions to restore the putting green as nearly as possible to its original condition,
"damage on the putting green" does not include any damage or conditions that result from:
• Natural wear of the hole.
If I am reading this correctly it looks like a nice little change there. When we go out in Seniors comps towards the end of the field there is often a lot of damage to the hole e.g. from flagstick sticks not put back in properly or the use of the ball retrievers on the putter being lent against the side of the hole.
