Anyone got any tips for removing stickers and the adhesive? I want to take the bloody price tag of my hybrids and putter and can't get it all off. Grrr!

Re: Removing Stickers

Use a hair dryer it'll soften the glue enough so that it wont leave any on the club.......Just make sure you heat it enough as if its not warm enough it'll only come off in little pieces....

Re: Removing Stickers

If you haven't got any white spirit to hand, a rag dabbed (not doused) with petrol and rubbed over the offending glue will remove every single trace.
Note. Do not light up a fag whilst doing this.
Hope that helps

Re: Removing Stickers

Excessive heat will damage a graphite shaft. Ok on steel though, as long as it is not near the hozel, when it will melt the glue that holds the head on.

Buy a spray can of sticker remover - I've had one for >5 years, and its still got loads left. Perfect for golf club price tags, or anything that leaves a gluey residue...

Re: Removing Stickers

Just be careful using nail varnish remover or acetone as prolonged exposure can damage the laquer and coating on the shaft and also break down the resins
