Remember your first concert?

About 1967 at the same gig

Traffic
Flowerpot Men
Keith West
mindbenders filled in for Vanilla Fudge

All had top 10 hits at the time and Traffic were number 1 with "Hole in my shoe"

Gene Vincent, The Majestic ballroom Motherwell 1962. not a concert as such just a special guest singing be- bop a lula. Ah the good old days , no backing tracks or special effects just LIVE MUSIC.

A band called 'gun' in approximately 94 at the wolves civic. They did a cover of 'word up' by cameo. Supported by a d-ream wannabe, bizarre!

Not sure if that was the same" Gun" that played a concert at Hampden park in the mid 90ties. If it was we could hear them tuning up about 5 miles away.

Mine was Johnny Thunder and the Heartbreakers at CBGBs in New York when I was 3 months old.

Not really, it was the Thompson Twins at Nottingham Royal Centre.

Can't remember the year, but I do recall seeing Dio, Iron Maiden, Tesla, Def Leppard, Keel, among any others. I did see Bryan Adams with T'Pau as his support at the Newcastle City hall in 87.

My concert highlight has to been seeing Queen at St James park.

Bought my girlfriend at the time tickets for Madonna at Wembley 91-92ish and she made me go with her! Thought it might be the only time I would get to Wembley as Darlington wasn't looking like they was ever going to get there!

The Searchers Leith Town Hall.

I was in the old Leith Town Hall just a few years ago and if they were to spend a little money on the place it could be a real asset. At the time of my work related visit, it was only the pigeons that were whispering Sweet Nothins ;)

Fist concert, can't remember but do remember being blown away when going to the SECC to see Huey Lewis in the mid-late80s as it was a huge venue compared to what we had in Edinburgh

DCB, does the Plaza ballroom still exist?. I played there in the mid 70s.
