I found a exclusive gc about 10 mins away from me which only has 400 members at a time. If you look at the membership cost you will see why i wont be joining but i did wonder if any of you have played it and if it was worth the £90 a round fee as a special treat. It's not a course i would play anytime soon but looking through the website it struck my curious side. The video is also worth a watch.

Right I'm getting my name down for that, looks a half decent track, I hope they do a decent mug of tea and bacon buttie in the clubhouse though. ;)

We do have a Winter Offer on at present which is as follows:

            £280.00 for a 4 Ball plus
            Full English Breakfast
            18 Holes Golf
            or
            18 Holes Golf
            Bangers and Mash after play

That was an offer that they sent me last year, pretty sure it will be available again this. Absolutely worth the trip, probably the best and purest greens I've played on period!!!!

I've got two mates who are members there (!)and I still haven't managed to get round. Lots of guys I play with have played as my club has a reciprocal that means you can get on there for £45. But it's a five hour round because of green to tee distances. The setting and the greens get fab reviews from those I know.

Where do you play if you are based in Ferndown?

I've played Ferndown forest a few times and Crane valley a few times but i'm not joining a club until early next year as i've only been playing for a few months. I am thinking of joining Canford Magna or Moors Valley at the moment.

Blimey!!!!.....you've only been playing a few months and you're already eyeing up top tracks like Remedy!!!!
I'd been playing about 10 years before i felt i had enough game to get round a championship course without making an arse of myself!
Good work fella!!! :D

We played there in the Spring. I remember a tough par 5 at the 2nd. Quite tough but overall I'd say very enjoyable and well wortha visit. A nice mix of holes. Lovely clubhouse as well.

I hope they do a decent mug of tea and bacon buttie in the clubhouse though. ;)

Translated to Surrey-speak that would be a decaf-skinny-mocha-latte and a hand-reared air-cured prosciutto focaccia drizzled with vine-ripened tomato jus...all for £24.99 :D
