I'm heading to the Mull and Islay in the summer.

My sneaky mate has discovered Dunaverty do Seniors Membership for £140.

We are playing there on the trip and we're wondering if the green fee there, and the discount you get at The Machrie for being a Scottish Member makes it worth the effort.

Looks interesting on the website, might be other benefits too?

Anyone played there or know anything interesting?

It’s a lovely fun course with some spectacular views,
You will not be disappointed

Played it on the forum trip to Islay and Machrihanish / Dunes and I’d happily play it again 👍

Never played Ian but Erik anders lang done an episode as part of his wee scottish series, it’s worth a watch, looks like heaven

I’d encourage you to seek out some film from No Laying Up who visited there with a guy called Jim Hartsell. His story is worth researching as he lost a son in tragic circumstances and found solace in golf and especially Dunaverty. The 11th tee was described as very special, I’m sure you will enjoy the experience.

I think i has been suspended now but Islay used to do country seniors membership it was £90, though its gone up now a load of the guys i play with go over for a week in spring and it payed for itself play 5 times and drink whisky the rest. Dunaverty was a favorite of The Craw
