Played in a comp on wednesday, playing partner was allowed relief in a bunker he decided to drop the ball but I thought as he was in the bunker he was allowed to place it so as not to plug the ball. Was I correct?

I seem to remember you are about 6'10? you can do what you want but the rule is it has to be dropped, so he was right.

Drivers good without weights, swing needs some work now as not consistent but sure it will come.Using 3 wood alot until then.
